Theory Programs
The feature elements included in the crane training school includes information concerning power-line safety, regulations, inspection, and site hazards involved in crane operation. Individuals training would obtain understanding of hardware applications, load charts and rigging. Direct feedback and quizzes throughout the course would assist trainees solidify their knowledge.
The theory topics comprise: Safety fundamentals for crane operators; introduction to crane certification process; rigging knowledge; crane operation knowledge; communications knowledge; crane pre-trip inspections & set-up, and crane service and maintenance.
Practical Programs
The practical training portion of the crane training school emphasizes hands-on learning. This section of the course focuses on the identification and terminology of crane components. Trainees would have the opportunity to practice skills required for crane signaling, rigging and operating.
Practical course topics: Identify crane components and functions; Learn crane terms; identify rigging and wire ropes; utilize remote control; pre-use check on crane; identify documents and regulations for rigging and wire rope; carry out right lowering and lifting of loads; carry out rigging methods and use hand signals and radio.
